ikr. Born in San Francisco, shaped in Kansas City, now in Kalamazoo. This began with no plan, just a desire to create and stay faithful with it.

Day Job :)

I work full-time in music, specifically as the Band Director for Radiant Church in Kalamazoo - leading teams, playing, teaching, and helping people grow.

Outside of that, I work in a lot of different production spaces, but with the same goal: show up, serve well, and make something meaningful.

I believe that the things that inform musical decisions matter just as much. There has to be more to this than just creating a cool sound. That’ll create burnout if it isn’t something that anchors your soul.

I fully believe that some things are only learned through mentorship and discipleship. Getting beyond networking and diving into eternally knit-together relationships.

i write for me.

Just being honest here, you are not my primary concern when I write. My musical is a journal, and journal’s hardly prefer trends. prepare for something abrasive sometime, tender at other times.
